Aircraft Medley

The balloon a Lindstrand LBL-105A G-OXMS was at the West Show, L'Eree Aerodrome - year unknown, Sea King XV673 was at St Martin's football pitch (Mike who was a parent helper for the school says 'it was quite roomy inside if a bit cluttered!', N356Q was the first Electra to visit & kept an engine running as Channel Express didn't have ground equipment for it at the time! The Gulfstream 4 A6-HHH came up from Jersey in connection with Powerboat week.

Aurigny enters the 'Long Haul' market!

1968/1969? View from the old terrace on the east side of the terminal. Without even reading the registration, one can identify G-AVCN by its tail fin logo, (Glosair logo and not the Aurigny lion). In the back-ground is Leonard Matchan's yellow and white Beagle 206... the registration slips my mind right now, though I do remember that the aircraft was written off in a crash, (in Jersey?).  ALVIN JAMES FURRER
