Some more photos from Alderney, all by Gerry Bond. Gerry was ATCO in Alderney from April to November 1969, where he was seconded from Gatwick as 'payment' for the Ministry of Aviation having cadets trained in the tower at Guernsey. He was needed to fill in until Brian Markell had left the RAF. In order: 1 - the new asphalt, fire station and tower at Alderney, which had been built in 1968. 2 - a fire exercise. 3 - three firemen doing maintenance.
