Douglas C-47 0-51116 seen here at GCI on 4 Feb 1969 arrived from Brussels where it was operating for the Military Air Assistance Group. The visit was believed to be in connection to Tektronix. The aircraft had an interesting history being supplied to the Cambodian Air Force in 1973 and later taken over by the Khmer Air Force. It escaped to Thailand in 1975 and went into sevice with the Thai Air Force, later being converted to a Turbo power by Basler Aviation at Oshkosh. Colin Smith
