                    BMA Viscount Farewell


Taken at Guernsey Airport, Channel Islands 18 February 1988 this image shows Vickers Viscount G-AZNA performing a low fly-by to commemorate the last British Midland Airways Viscount service to and from the island. 

This aircraft c/n 350, is a V.813 variant, & was built for South African Airways and first flew on Sunday, 7 December 1958  Bournemouth,England. During its life it was also owned and/or operated by British Midland Airways  Manx Airlines, Hot Air, Ligacoes Aereas Regionais (LAR), Gambia Air Shuttle and British Air Ferries.
