I found this picture of an RAF Shackleton at Guernsey in a clear out of my late father's albums. He signed up for the RAF soon after the occupation & served in Palestine as a leading aircraftsman working on Lancaster and Shackleton aircraft so it was really special for him to go on board when the last one visited the island.
