Partnair's Convair 580 LN-PAA was operating a GCI-LHR flight for Air UK when it visited. The aircraft was built in 1953 & was in service until being written off in 1989 due to rudder failure and break off due to improper APU maintenance and use of counterfeit tail parts sadly 55 people lost their lives in the incident 18 km north of Hirtshalls, Denmark.
