KLM Freighter
Pic - Bob Finnigan
PH-DSG Douglas DC-7CF KLM Royal Dutch Airlines visited on 10 May 1963. A note from Roger Sweet on the back of the image states that Roger heard that the aircraft flew from the USA to LHR where half the cargo was unloaded, the aircraft flew on to Guernsey with the remainder before heading back to LHR to pic up the cargo it had unloaded there to bring it to GCI - the reason being Guernsey's 'short' runway.
